Looking at the Hull/Deck Joint

When talking with people about the boat, one thing that is asked about is how the hull and deck are joined together.  Quality here is important and we wanted to be able to show exactly what is going on so we cut one up.  We did not cut up a boat but had the joint section laid up and I assembled it and then cut that up.  The pieces will be taken to shows so people can see inside the joint and feel good about the way a Sage is put together.  The thickened resin bonds the parts together and then the joint is thru bolted every 6 inches with the toe rail installation.  Genoa tracks add more bolts to the joint making it even stronger.
