Sage 17 ALETHEIA is already on her home waters and went for her first sail just two days after leaving Colorado!
I’ve been spending a lot of time calling vendors these past couple of weeks as there are a couple of highly customized Sage 17s in the build schedule. I’m sure these customizations will be of interest to folks and will post details as the boats begin assembly over the next couple of months.

Good ‘Sage Marine friends’ from Texas are visiting the shop and last weekend we went for an enjoyable sail in AIR BORN on Lake Dillon –

After a month-long silence I will update all’ya’all on what I have been up to during the last month –
* drove from Colorado to Florida to attend the Strictly Sail Miami boat show.
Departing Denver on the 4th of February.
Stopped on the way to Miami to show the boat. The couple was nice enough to allow me to ‘camp’ in their driveway.

* drove from FL to Louisiana to deliver the brand new Sage 17 to her owner. Though not in the best weather did go sailing for about an hour – light winds and 40 degrees.
The new Sage 17 delivered to her owner. I spent a couple of days with the owner going through the rigging process and boat’s systems.
Had a couple of issues with the usually reliable truck.
* drove from LA to California to pick up more Sage 17 trailers.
* drove from CA back to Colorado.
Last night of the trip was spent in a campground in Cedar City, UT.
In total I drove over 6,500 miles and was on the road from the 4th of Feb. until the 3rd of March.
I travel a lot. The highlights are all the trips I have made beginning January 2014 through February 2015.
The trip was a lot of work … and honestly a lot of fun. I’ll post some specific details over the next few weeks.
Next scheduled trip is in April when I’ll head back to California to attend the Strictly Sail Pacific show at Jack London Square in Oakland.
